Julong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.(JLSP), founded in April 2000, is a joint venture established with the investments of CNPC Bohai Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Japan Marubeni Itochu Steel Inc. The Company owns two internationally advanced and domestically leading JCOE large-diameter submerged-arc longitudinal welded pipe (SAWL) production lines as well as supporting internal drag-reduction and external coating production lines, with annual integrated production capacity of 400,000 tons of steel pipes.
The Company is located at Hebei Province Qing County Steel Pipe Industrial Park, seated in the Around-Bohai Economic Development Zone, neighboring to the three metropolises Beijing, Tianjin and Shijiazhuang, and close to Tianjin Xingang Port and Huanghua Port. In the Park, there are 7 special railway lines connected with handover field and Beijing-Shanghai Railway, the highways here are directly connected with Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, the supporting system facilities are perfect, and water & land traffic is extremely convenient.
Since the construction of the first domestic large-diameter SAWL pipe production line, the Company has always acted as the pace-maker in the research & development and production of high-end SAWL pipes at home. The Company has successfully researched and developed X70, X80, X90, X100 and X120 SAWL pipes, X70 and X80 high-strain SAWL pipes and X65 offshore SAWL pipes, filling the industrial blank. The Company periodically carries out technical communication and cooperation with international advanced enterprises such as JFE, etc., and has taken the lead in carrying out integrated research and development of SAWL pipes and high-end bends at home. The industry-leading manufacturing experiences and technical reserves accumulated over the past years have made the Company have sufficient ability to provide large-diameter SAWL pipes, as well as internal and external coating products and services for users.

The Company is a main supplier of national key oil & gas pipeline projects for PetroChina, SinoPec , CNOOC, etc. ,as well as local urban pipeline network construction projects, and it has participated in the construction of nearly all major oil & gas pipeline projects all over China since 2002,and its products have been exported to the countries such as Russia, USA, Italy, Australia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iraq and Myanmar, etc. By 2016, the Company has accumulatively provided 2,200,000 tons of (more than 4900Km) high-standard large-diameter SAWL pipes for oil & gas transportation.
