By July 25, 2018, Julong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. has manufactured a total of 115,000 tons of SAWL steel pipes for China-Russian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (Northern Section). China-Russian Natural Gas Pipeline starts from the Border of China and Russia in Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province of China, passes through 9 provinces-Heilongjiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Hebei, Tianjin, Shandong and Jiangsu and ends at Shanghai City. The long-distance natural gas transmission pipeline has the largest diameter and highest pressure with total length of 3371km. Construction of the project started in June, 2015, and northern section (Heihe-Changling), middle section (Changling-Yongqing) and southern section (Yongqing-Shanghai) shall be constructed by stages which shall expected to be fully completed by the end of 2020.
