On May 16th, the project “Development and Application of X80 Φ1422mm Large Transmission SAW Pipe of China-Russian Eastern Pipeline” passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal organized by Tianjin High-tech Achievement Transformation Center and was identified as the international leading level by the expert team, which verified that the JLSP once again made a qualitative leap in research and development strength and technical level.

"X80 Φ1422mm SAWL Pipe" was awarded as CNPC''s independent innovation product and CNPC''s superior product. In the development process, JLSP carried out systematic and integrative research on plate and pipe and developed forming technology with high precision and high-speed & high-strength submerged arc welding technology. The pipe has excellent mechanical properties and high geometric dimensional accuracy, which fully meets the technical specifications of the China-Russian Eastern Pipeline.

Up to now, JLSP has delivered 170,000 tons of X80Φ1422mm steel pipes for the China-Russian Eastern Pipeline Project which guaranteed customer’s demand on schedule.
